A Message from our Executive Head teacher
Welcome to St. Paul's CE Primary School, Nursery and Additional Resourced Provision in Royton. I am very proud to be the Executive Head teacher of this wonderful and inspirational school.
From Autumn 2025 our day to day running of the school will be led by the Head of School, Mrs Hayley Green in conjunction with myself as Executive Head teacher.
We are a school family where “In Jesus, Together We Grow, Love to Learn and Shine – Make a Difference” This vision is the heartbeat of everything we do. Rooted in the Christian values and the Fruits of the Spirit, we nurture love, kindness, gentleness and respect so that every child can flourish.
St. Paul’s is a one form entry school with a Nursery and an Additional Resourced Provision for children with speech and communication and autism needs.
As proud members of Crompton House Trust, we also benefit from being part of a wider family of schools where collaboration, support and high expectations help us to provide extended opportunities for learning. This connection strengthens our capacity to provide an inclusive, ambitious education striving for academic excellence, and personal growth.
Our school is also privileged to be working closely with St. Anne’s, Royton. By sharing expertise, creativity and opportunities to work together across both schools, we ensure that every child is able to access the very best experiences and that every member of staff feels part of a wider professional family, supporting each other’s growth within a flourishing community.
We celebrate the rich tapestry of our community. Our aim is to be an oasis of learning, where each child’s and staff members's unique talents are discovered, recognised and celebrated. Through a broad and inclusive curriculum, we encourage curiosity, confidence and creativity ensuring all children and staff are supported to grow in faith, learning and character; realising their potential – academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
Stemming from the school's strong and well embedded VISION, we are linking 5 CORE STANDARDS that will:
- Develop a BELIEF in ourselves and our values through the school's strong church foundation;
- Support the community to GROW TOGETHER in order to ACHIEVE well that will be the foundation of our life skills;
- INSPIRE our pupils and staff to LOVE TO LEARN by providing teaching and learning to support our pupils and training to support our staff, in order for everyone to reach their full potential;
- Encourage a DISCOVERY of new and exciting learning alongside others and to SHINE within a respectful and inclusive learning environment and
- Give our pupils and staff a sense of BELONGING to a community that encourages everyone to MAKE A DIFFERENCE to themselves and others.
By working hand in hand with families, governors and the community, we are building a future where every child and staff member feels valued, included and empowered to flourish.
If anyone is interested to learn more about our school, please contact the school office and request a visit, where you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly staff.
With the kindest of regards
Hilary Henderson
